This Week in HWA History: Sept. 24th - 30th
Welcome to another week in HWA History! This week looks at the final week of September as we cover the 24th - 30th. Lots of annual “Pick Your Poison” shows, some big events during the developmental era and lots more!
Before jumping into everything, I want to mention that I had the opportunity to chat with former HWA commentator and matchmaker Chris the Brain for an episode of the “On the Indies” podcast which you can find on the Wrestle Inn podcast feed. The show will drop on September 27th and we talk about a bunch of stuff including Jon Moxley, L.A. Knight, the Moxley vs. Danielson match from 2010, running shows at the Sorg Opera House, King Vu and lots more.

Match of the Week
This week’s match is from the September 30, 2006 episode of HWA Adrenaline featuring Dr. Bones against Tack. These two had a wild feud during the Evendale years of the HWA and at one point fought in a completely nuts Parking Lot Brawl that ended up in a car wash. This isn’t the car wash match unfortunately, however it’s a match in a series of their wild feud.
